As most of you know I am a sucker for love stories. Through and through. I did Molly and Flynn’s wedding on September 2nd, 2012. I met these two, months before that. I instantly sensed this deep bond between them. I can’t tell you if it was how they looked at each or how easy it was for them to be a whole.
Molly & Flynn originally met over 4 years before there was that “something more” and of course it was in their swim suits (talk about this being my wedding couple (water polo and all)! They reconnected in Spain of all places! Molly was living there and Flynn was traveling around Europe. They had this chemistry (that they both explained to me) and they knew they could not pass it up. Flynn came back to America while Molly finished out her time in Spain. Thank goodness for every form of communication now! Molly & Flynn, skyped, facebooked, emailed, whatever they could to stay in contact. Molly finally came back home and explained to me that, “after seemingly the longest flight in the history of the universe, I buried my head in his chest, at baggage claim at SFO , too afraid to look up. When I finally did, my life changed.” And so it did! They celebrated their one year anniversary with champagne and burritos from a favorite taqueria in San Francisco. Flynn got down on one knee in the middle of Golden Gate Park. Molly knew it was coming. She cried anyway. They went to get delicious apple and strawberry rhubarb tarts from an Irish bakery in the Marina afterwards and watched the Giants game in a bar. Molly & Flynn were married on September 2nd, 2012 at The Faculty Club at UC Berkeley. I feel so honored to have been apart of their day, and even more honored to have two kick ass people in my life!
Flynn drew this program. It definitely added that special touch!
Molly & Flynn went with school details to really embrace getting married at UC Berkeley. Jamie at Studio 13 Designs did all of the amazing florals & chalkboard signs. Molly made all of the book page runners!!
Molly had all of her bridesmaid wear dresses they already had in different shades of blue & green. The guys wore different shades of blue which lead to a great color combo!
Their families brought in homemade desserts. And who could not stop at this little guy! What a cutie!
Their wedding day was incredible and definitely one I will always remember…..
Molly & Flynn… I cannot wait to see your adventure unfold!
